What is Jesus Speaks?

One operator speaks; the whole room hears and reads it in their own language.

3 min read

Jesus Speaks turns one spoken voice into many. The operator speaks into a microphone, and the app instantly transcribes, translates, and delivers that message to everyone in the room — each person in the language they understand best.

Three audiences, served at once

  • Spoken audio — listeners hear a natural voice in their own language on their own phone.
  • Reading view — large live captions for the hard of hearing, every word on screen, no audio needed.
  • Big-screen captions — projected for the whole room to read together.

A single service can reach almost anyone: Jesus Speaks supports 56 input languages and 87 output languages. One person preaches; the room hears in dozens of tongues at the same time.

Tip

Nothing to install

Jesus Speaks runs entirely in the browser. There is no app to download for you or your listeners — just open a link. We recommend Google Chrome.

The name comes from Acts 2 — Pentecost, when “each one heard them speaking in his own language.” That is the whole idea: so everyone hears.
